バウハウスを今流によみがえらせた。生産はバウハウス製品を今も作り続ける正統派ドイツ・トーネット社が無印良品のために作る。新しい物を作るだけがデザインではない。古きものの良さ、普遍の精神を今流に打ち出すのもまたデザインなのではないか。引き出しは無印良品のポリプロピレン引き出しが利用されている。
