SOU・SOU（そう・そう）というブランド名は普段なにげなく使っているあいづちから名づけられた。日本の伝統の軸線上にあるモダンデザインの創造を企業コンセプトに展開している商品の一つが、日本唯一の国産地下足袋シリーズである〈つっかけ〉だ。大工さんや鳶職人達が使用している地下足袋を現代人の生活に合わせてリ・デザインしている。実際の使用は足にしっくり馴染み無理な締付けもなく優しく包んでくれる。また、二つに割れたつま先はふんばりがきき、日曜大工にもピッタリだ。地下足袋のフィット感とサンダルの手軽さを合わせ持つこの〈つっかけ〉は、これまでとちょっと違った雰囲気を味わうことができるデザインといえる。

| The brand name SOU SOU comes from the word we often use to briefly express consent during a conversation. The product <TSUKKAKE> introduced here is the only Japan-made Jikatabi-series and is one of the products of a company that has created a modern design by extending Japanese tradition. It is a redesign of the Jikatabi, special footwear worn by carpenters and steeplejacks, which has been adjusted for modern people. When I tried it on, it perfectly fit my feet, yet not too tight, and wrapped them softly. The toe part is split, giving you a stronger grip, and thus making it suitable for Sunday home carpentry. <TSUKKAKE> combines the best parts of the Jikatabi and of flip-flops, and its design lets you experience a new feeling. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
