ベンチバスEXという名の通り半身浴でリラックスできる。浴槽形状は幼児から年輩者まで入りやすく、出やすいユニバーサルを目指した造形で安心感がもてる。またこの商品の特徴でもある「おそうじ浴槽（浴槽自動洗浄機能）」も嬉しい。お風呂そうじは結構たいへんな労働で、低ランニングコストで自動化できるなら欲しい人はかなりいるはずだ。ノーリツは業界に先駆けて1996年にベンチ付き浴槽を商品化している。ベンチバスEXは、更に半身浴へのこだわりをもって、座り心地を追究し開発したという商品だ。浴槽内に洗浄ノズルをつけたのもノーリツが最初とのこと。浴槽洗浄とお湯はりを自動でおこなう機能に技術革新がある。
