ビジネスのグローバル化が拡大する中、通信ネットワークのインフラもブロードバンド化が進行し格段に進歩している。遠隔コミュニケーションも従来のアナログ電話回線からIPネットワークを利用した会議システムに移行しつつある中、拠点間の多人数会議用音声コミュニケーションデバイス「PJP-50R」が登場した。 本機は、拠点同士のIP電話会議だけでなく、さらに携帯電話での参加や、アナログ回線の対応など多様性も持ち合わせている。スタイルは巻貝を想起させる丸型基調で、堅苦しい雰囲気の会議でも本機を取り囲んで会議をすれば落ち着いた雰囲気で円満な会議が進行できそうな、「ホッ」とさせるやさしい印象だ。オフィスの機器は角っぽい物が多い中で、オフィス環境の新しい時代を迎えるシンボル的商品で好感が持てる。

| With economic globalization progressing, also the infrastructure of communication networks expands and becomes broadband. While long-distance communication is shifting from the earlier analogue phone circuits to long-distance conferencing systems that utilize IP networks, a voice communication device for a multi-person conference between different bases was introduced: < PJP-50R >. This device can be used not only for inter-base IP phone conferences, but also for participation with mobile phones and via analogue circuits. Its style is of round form that resembles a spiral shell, which could relieve the conference room of its stiff atmosphere.
