「飯椀の郷」のブランドで製造、販売される漆塗りのテーブルウエア飯椀シリーズは、自然乾燥された「水目桜」の大木から変形の少ない「堅木取り」で始り、全27におよぶ工程を経て完成、その後6ヶ月間管理されたのち出荷される。「飯椀の郷」ブランドは、輪島、山中、越前地域の厳選された素材と匠の技、そして用の美からなる伝統工芸を継承する屈指の職人の技を保存するために三企業が協同して設立し、プロダクトデザイナー坂田守正氏のデザインで＜「雅」会席揃え＞等の伝統工芸の逸品を送り出している。新しい日本の様式美の創造と保存に大きな貢献をしている企業活動である。

| The dinner set is part of the product line of the brand "The Hometown of the Rice Bowl". Its lacquer ware series started with a series of rice bowls called "Katagidori". It is made of the naturally dried wood of the "Mizume" cherry tree, which is characterized by a rather regular shape. It takes 27 production steps over a period of six months until it is ready for shipping. The brand, "The Hometown of the Rice Bowl", was established by a corporation formed by three companies whose aim is to support the skill of eminent craftsmen who excel at traditional crafts. The craftwork is distinguished by the use of selected material from Wajima, Yamanaka, and Echizen, and by the skill of the "takumi", the master of craftsmen, as well as by the beauty of its style. So the < Miyabi > is advertised as an example for excellent traditional craftwork combining the aforementioned qualities. In all, this enterprise is an activity that greatly contributes to the perpetuation of such craftwork and to the creation of a new Japanese beauty of style. |
