子どもの情操教育向上のための知育玩具は世界中で数多く生産されている。
その中でもこの＜オートモブロックス＞は、素材的にはABSやポリカーボネート、ブナを使用し普通の玩具と何ら変わらないが、単に自動車の組み立て玩具を超えたディテールの造形がとても繊細だ。 特に、一つひとつのパーツにまで丁寧にデザイン処理が施されている点や、シンボルマーク一つとっても、車好きが玩具を創ったらこうなるだろうということを想像させる。 ホイールベースやキャビンスペースなどのパッケージは実車とはかなり異なるが、むしろその点が初期段階にデザイナーが描くイメージスケッチを思い起こさせる。実車をディフォルメした玩具ではなく、コンセプトをそのまま形にしたようでとても好感が持てる。 また仕上げも、あえてソリッドの塗装ではないクリアの多層塗りで、ブナ材の木目がとても美しく質感を感じさせ、大人でもオフィスのデスクに一つ置きたいと思う程の完成度である。 |

| Worldwide, a great number of similar toys are produced that stimulate intellectual development and perception. Among these products, there is < AUTOMOBLOX > for which the materials ABS and polycarbonate and Buna are used葉he same as in normal toys. But the modelling of the details is very thoroughly thought out with regard to the assembly of automobile toys. I can imagine that when a car lover puts the toy together, it will be like one. We especially gather this from the tasteful design that extends to the individual part and the brand mark. The wheel base and the cabin space etc. may differ from the actual car, but even these points suggest that the idea was to therewith follow the design concept. I impresses me very much. And the finish is a multilayer coating that is not rigid. This effect brings out the feeling of the Buna grain very beautifully. About the degree of completion we can say that even adults would like to put on their desk in the office. |
