これまでにスリム化を図った同種デザインの商品はさまざま発売されてきたが、これほど上品にその薄さを表現したデザインは他になかった様に思う。脚部のカーブは美しいフレームラインをつくると同時にキーボードとの一体感をも上手に演出している。VAIOシリーズにも見受けられるこの一体感という思想を高度に昇華させた完成度の高いデザインであると感じる。

| There are many products that aim for a slim design, but I have never seen such a design that would express the aimed for thinness in an elegant way. The curve of the stand contributes to the beauty of the frame's outline. At the same time it produces a sense of unity with the keyboard. It is this idea of unity that we can also see in the VAIO series. The design of the display refines this idea with its high-level degree of completion. |
