「現場監督」シリーズは、1988年9月の第一号機（35mmフィルムカメラ）発売まで遡り、既に17年の歴史を有する。
この間、市場のニーズに応じズームや広角レンズ、大光量ストロボの搭載、またデジタル化へと進化してきた。 コンセプトは明快で、商品ペットネーム通り工事現場での画像記録を目的としている。このため防水・防塵はもちろんのこと、デザイン的にはラバーを多用することで耐衝撃性の向上を図ったボディーやグローブでの操作性に配慮した大型のグリップと各種ボタンなど、従来のアウトドア仕様のそれとは明らかに一線を画している。 ＜DIGITAL現場監督 DG-5W＞はデジタル化され四代目となるが、デジタルならではの光学設計による薄型ボディーと堅牢性を見事に表現したデザインが魅力だ。ボディーは総てラバーで覆われ極力凹凸を抑え、またフロントデザインの特徴でもある左右に走るメタル調パネルはグリップの仕方を案内し視覚的にも安定感を与えている。「現場監督」シリーズ中、実用・携帯性とデザイン性が高度に調和したプロダクトであると感じる。 |

| With 17 years of history, the < SITE SUPERVISOR > camera series goes back on sale today since the first model (35mm film camera) was sold in September 1988. The camera has been further developed with regard to the zoom, the wide-angle lens and the high intensity strobe and, furthermore, its digitization in response to market demands. The concept of the camera is clear. In addition, according to the pet name of the product, it has the purpose to record pictures at construction sites. Besides being waterproof and the dustproof, the rubber made large-sized grip and various buttons as well as improved shock resistance make for practical outdoor use. The 4th generation of the < DIGITAL SITE SUPERVISOR DG-5W > features a compact slim body with good visual design and strong weather resistance. The entire body is covered and flattened with rubber. In addition to these features, the metal pitch panel that runs to the left and right guides the use of the grip and gives stability while also functioning visually as front design. With the < DG-5W >, the "Site Supervisor" series integrates portability and practical design at a high level. |
