一見して一切無駄のないシンプルで美しいデザイン。しかし、よく見るとディテールが非常に凝っているのがわかる。
ダイヤルは端に行くに従って持ち上がり、太さが途中で変わる針は視認性に優れている。また、多くのデュアルタイムウォッチは上下に2つのダイヤルが配置されているが、 ＜VAKIO＞は左右に配置され、それぞれのインデックスのグラフィックデザインも美しい。緩やかな曲面で構成されたシェル状ケースの裏蓋には従来のウオッチにはないミュージアムプレートを彷彿させる刻印がされているのも面白い。 「VAKIO」とはフィンランド語で、コンスタント、スタンダードを意味する。北欧デザインのベースとも言える「ビジュアル的にも美しく、長く愛されるデザイン」をハッリ・コスキネン（Harri Koskinen）の独創性により見事に実現している。 |

| At first glance, the design is very simple. But when you look carefully, you will realize that every detail is done elaborately. Towards the edges, the dial is slightly raised. The needle whose thickness changes midway is superior in visibility. In addition, whereas the two dials of many dual time watches are arranged at the top and bottom, the < VAKIO >'s are arranged left and right. And also the graphics design of the each index is beautiful, too. There is a hallmark that has never been seen before on the reverse side cover of the shell case that consists of a loose curved surface. It is like a museum plate and very interesting. < VAKIO > means constancy and standard in finish. The product actualizes the design basis of Scandinavia, and that is that "the design that is visually beautiful is loved for a long time"預s that designed by Harri Koskinen's originality. |
