フォークリフト本来のあるべき姿「働く道具としての機能美」をテーマにオペレーターの操作性、作業性と機動性、走行性など多岐にわたる要望をデザイナーが総合的に纏め具現化した結果、快適で操作性に優れたコックピットが備わり機動力アップと小型化が両立したデザインが実現している。
特にレオネクスト車(コンパクト車)は小型化と低重心を実現する為に新タイヤ(側面にエアーホールを設け耐久性と乗り心地を向上)を福山ゴム工業の協力を得て開発し、またコックピット後部のカウンターウエイトには裏面にパーティングラインを入れ廃棄時に割れやすくリサイクル性を高めるなどオペレーターの快適性や環境保全に積極的に配慮した企業姿勢が素晴らしい。 |

| This forklift realizes the original form of the forklift. Here one can speak of "functional beauty", the beauty of an instrument that works. The designer took stock of demands such as, for example, operating conditions and efficiency, mobility and easy handling for the operator, and developed a concept joining these requirements. The resulting design adds to the convenience of the cockpit that excellently ensures operating efficiency. The design realizes the compatibility of enhanced mobility and miniaturization. Especially the compact forklift < LEO-NXT > testifies to the abovementioned miniaturization. It is also characterized by a low center of gravity. This is also due to the new type of tires used. They have air holes on the side surface to enhance stability. It is a nice feeling to get on this vehicle. The development was undertaken in cooperation with the Fukuyama rubber industry. Furthermore, the partition inserted in the back acts as a counterweight to the cockpit. It also takes recyclability into account. From these points we can see that the company's philosophy takes into account convenience for the operator and the preservation of the environment. |
