| The first-generation < Fusion > appeared on the market in 1986 and created a boom for large-sized scooters. Since that time, it has not only been very popular with young people but also with businessmen, and it proved salable regardless of overall economic tendencies both in the market for new vehicles and in the secondhand market. The style is characterized by a straight and clear line, and the overall appearance is very impressive among current new scooters with organic body shapes. In addition, it is distinguished by its unique long and low design, which contributes to a comfortable riding position comparable to that in a car. The scooter is similar to the large-sized touring motorcycles and it grandly gives a feeling of its character. It fits the qualities of Japanese roads, and, being equipped with a single-cylinder 250cc engine, it is very cost-effective, also with regard to maintenance costs. It is efficient and superior in practicality. So, for example, it features a spacious trunk large enough to hold 2 helmets. Furthermore, it fits current life-style tendencies extremely well. In my opinion, all these points ensure that many people will want to use it for a long time. |
