小型化は日本のお家芸の一つと言われている。
これまでの食器洗い乾燥機とは違い、小型化された物〈NP-50SX3〉が登場し、それをきっかけにこれらの食器洗い乾燥機が人気を呼んでいる。これまで日本のキッチンにはいささか大きすぎたようである。 それにしてもこのような商品も小型化できるとは正直驚いた。環境問題などさまざまな問題と取り組み、それを解消しつつ且ここまでの小型化は見事としか言いようが無い。 実際の物を見てみると、この中に50点もの食器が入るとは思えないほどである。しかも水の使用量が1/10（カタログ値）と言う。前面のドアも引き出した時の出っ張りを最小限にするためドアを上下ニ分割し、上半分を上部に可動させている。しかもそれが取り出しやすさにもつながっていてユーザーへの配慮も全く怠りはない。 外観デザインは、実にクリーンなイメージ。昨今の高級キッチンは、ステンレスなどクール、ハードでクリーンなイメージを持つ物が多く登場しているが、そういったキッチンにも合わせられる。直線的なデザインや、素材感、色使いがクリーンさを引き立たせている。 デザインの役割は単独にスタイリングを美しくするだけでなく、風土や、事情、ライフスタイルや周囲の環境などを充分理解した上で使いやすく美しいものを創り出すことであると改めて認識することができた。 |

| Miniaturization is known as one of Japan's specialties. This product is different from the former dishwashers since the < NP-50SX > was miniaturized. It is an opportunity to make such dishwashers more popular, since most of the old series seem to be too large for Japanese kitchens. That such a commodity can be miniaturized, too, surprised me. The product was produced by tackling various problems, especially environmental ones. These were successfully dealt with and then came the size conversion to a smaller model. That's wonderful! When you actually look at one, it has enough space, so that you can clean 50 pieces of tableware in it, which is unbelievable. Furthermore, the amount of water used has been reduced by 1/10 (catalog data). To reduce the protrusion to a minimum when the front door is pulled out, the top and bottom of the door are divided. This solution is comfortable for the user as well as cost-effective. And the design gives a truly clean image. Like the high-class kitchen of today, it is made of stainless steel, which looks cool and is hard. These kitchens have a clean appearance and the product is adjusted to them. It has some characteristic features: the rectilinear design, the texture of the material and its color are the basis for the resulting cleanliness and the overall pristine image. Not only does the overall design make the styling beautifully independent but testifies to an understanding of areas and issues such as life style and the environment, etc. It is beautiful and useful and it should be understood easily enough. Because of this design, I could recommend this product. |
