現代社会の「家電」の役割は、余暇時間を作るものと楽しむものに二極化して久しい。前者は、従来からの作用をテクノロジーによって簡便化し家事を省力化する。後者は、AVやゲーム機のように作用自体を楽しむものだ。この製品は前者であり、それも明確に家事の簡便化を意識した製品である。
構成としては、IH加熱方式を持つ電装部と圧力鍋が組み合わされたものであり、センサーとマイクロコンピュータによって加熱出力や時間をコントロールする。その結果、 圧力調理時の火加減や加熱時間の管理から開放してくれる。造形は、電装部と圧力鍋に統一感を持たせシンプルで使いやすそうな操作部と、しっかりと作られた鍋の付属パーツにより圧力鍋の危険なイメージを感じさせない。道具として調理器具の佇まいをもち、より一層の安心感をもたらしている。安心感と信頼感を与え、また圧力調理の効果を簡単に享受できる利便性をもった新たな「家電」として正常進化したひとつの例である。 忙しい家事から解放され、豊かな時間を作ってくれることは容易に想像できる。 |

| For some time now, the role of home appliances in today's society has been characterized by two trends: increase in effectiveness and entertainment. As for the first point, machines have been simplified to facilitate easy and comfortable use to reduce the housework, and thus to give us more leisure time. As for the second point, the fun factor has been a driving force behind the development of products such as, for example, AV equipment or games. This product falls under the first category, since it clearly aims at the simplification of housework. As for the electric construction, it features an IH heating system combined with a pressure pot. Heating and timing are controlled by a sensor and a micro-computer, which guarantees safety and allows for easy management of the cooking time. As for the design, the electric unit and the pressure pot have a standard appearance. In all, the simplicity of the control unit and the design of the pot's attachment were constructed with regard to safety, and thus the appliance is not perceived as a potentially dangerous device, but gives an overall feeling of safety. This device is a typical example. It is not only convenient but gives a sense of relief and reliability. In summary, with this product one can enjoy the effect of pressure cooking: It relieves us of busy housekeeping and gives us more free time. |
