これまで別々に存在していたデジタル機器が一つのパッケージとなり、すんなり家庭に入ってきてしまった。＜Galileo＞は現代の三種の神器とも言うべき「PC」「携帯電話」
「テレビ」を有機的に繋ぐユビキタス時代のHDDレコーダー内蔵のパーソナルサーバーだ。 このようなサーバーが家庭でのITインフラを構築して、今後の家電の在り方を一変し、私たちの生活を次のステージへとハイスピードで連れて行く事だろう。私は、本来このような機器は「設備」であるべきものだと思っている。 ＜Galileo＞のデザインはそのことを心得ているかのようで好感が持てる。様々な情報を送受信するアンテナをイメージする筐体左右の逆三角形状のスタンドや近代的で清潔感のあるフロントパネルは置き続けられることを意識し安定したデザインに仕上がっている。 ＜Galileo＞は、家庭内でのデジタル機器をシームレスに繋ぐ本格的な機器であり、 歴史的マイルストーンとして記録したい。 |

| Currently, digital equipment packaging the so far separate units enters the homes. <Galileo>, which also includes a HDD recorder, is the personal server for the ubiquitous age. It is much better than the three treasures - PC, mobile phone, and television. This kind of server construction increases the use of IT at home and fundamentally changes the future of home appliances. It will bring our way of living to the next stage to keep up with the high speed of the digital age. For me, this kind of machine is "home equipment". The design of <Galileo> has a good impression about it. Its finish is characterized by stability, and its overall style distinguishes the server. Examples are the opposite triangular shapes on the left and right side of the frame, which represent the antenna for information transmission and reception, as well as the front panel which gives a modern and fresh impression. <Galileo> is the perfect digital home equipment. One would like to record it as a historical milestone. |
