デジタルカメラは薄型で軽く、操作が簡単で買ったその日に使えるようなものが欲しいと思っている。〈EXILIM-Z3〉は3倍ズームなのにスライドするレンズ格納構造で22.9mmの薄型。液晶モニターがグーンと大きいため撮影し易く見やすい。
また専用クレードルに置くだけで充電でき、画像転送もボタンひとつで楽にこなせる。 それにPHOTOボタンでお気に入りの画像を選べば、モニター画面でちょっとしたスライドショーを楽しむ事もできる。 近頃はシャッターチャンスに「カメラ」を構える人より「ケータイ」を向ける人が多くなった。特に突然の出会いにポケットから取り出して「即写す」「即送る」という臨場感は映像の質を凌駕する威力がある。だからこそ「ケータイ」に負けない「カメラ」の特性を生かした性能と使用性が期待されるのだ。 |

| Initially this camera was successfully introduced with a plastic body, and was then followed by models made of metal. The appearance of this compact film camera as it was sold in the late 1990s made a strong impression on me. I still remember its titanium body. Later, the camera was manufactured using metals such as aluminum, stainless steel or magnesium, etc. Each of these cameras strongly appealed to consumers. The body of the < IXY DIGITAL L > is completely made of metal and is distinguished by the ideal use of aluminum and stainless steel. In addition, there are four new color variations. This is a first for Canon. Thus the camera's finish does not only offer a choice of colors, but each color makes the respective expression unique. In spite of prejudice against this camera's finish, it looks like metal, and for me, it clearly conveys the idea of the designer. In the Japanese market, the function and status of cameras for taking snap shots has been taken over by mobile phones. But the form and appearance of the < IXY DIGITAL L > distinguish it from other cameras: Its overall impression makes us want to use it for a long time. |
