円盤形状の特徴的なケース、無駄を一切排したシンプルなダイヤル、一目見てマークニューソンと分かるニードルなどすべてにこだわりを感じさせる秀逸なデザイン。現物を前にすると甘い香りのするラバーバンドに意表を突かれる。
デザインのみならず、オリジナルの優れた機械式ムーブメントも見逃せない。

The Ikepod company appeared on the market all of a sudden, and was at once much talked about in the conservative world of watch design.
The company continues to produce epoch-making models, and the newly produced ﾒHemipode Chronographﾓ is a monument to this. The case's characteristic disk form and the simple dial show efficient use of material. The wonderful design makes us recognize at a glance that it was developed by Marc Newson. When I hold the watch in front of me, the natural rubber straps of this watch smell very sweet - a surprising feature. It is not only the design, but also the wonderful, original mechanical movement that should be mentioned here. This model is characterized by a good combination of a sense of fashion and delicate design, and I have never seen a more charming one.
