そのシンプルなフォルムは机の上での存在感をあまり感じさせず環境と調和するデザイン。また、照明部が回転する形態も分かり易く明確で、その動きもスムーズで快適だ。質感は艶やかでありながら品質の高さを感じさせる。
オフィスや家庭で使用するデスク・スタンドとして、また道具としてや形態的な視点からも完成度の高いデザインと言える。建築家でもある押野見邦 氏が表現する、空間的アプローチとしての「空気のような存在感」と、工業デザイン的アプローチとしての「モノの完成度」を感じさせる。 私のオフィスでも7・8年前より60個程使用しているが、故障したり壊れたすることも無く耐久性という面からも信頼できる。 このような完成度の高いデザインの製品を長期に亘り継続的に販売しているヤマギワの方針も賛美したい。 |

| The design fits in with the office environment, because due to its simple and clear form it does not give a predominant impression when standing on a desk. The lighting part can be turned with a very smooth and comfortable movement. The glossy quality of the material gives the impression that this is a high quality product. Regarding the form, the perfection of this product's design, a product that can be used in the office as well as at home, sets a high standard. The architect Kunihide Oshinomi described his approach to space as an endeavor to create an ﾒexistence like the airﾓ; and one could describe the approach underlying industrial design as the ﾒcompletion of materialﾓ. In this case, I feel both. I have been using about sixty products of this type in my office for about seven or eight years, and during this time they have proven that they are very durable, they have never been broken nor have they been the cause for an accident. I highly recommend Yamagiwa Electric, because they have been selling such high quality design products for a long time. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
